3 Cheers-Worthy Holiday Beer-Tails

Happy Holidays! Lauren from Lake Shore Lady here. Sweater weather is officially upon us and so is the holiday season! The next month is the perfect time to host cocktail parties, gift swaps, or cozy movie nights - and I’ve got three delicious drinks that are guaranteed to make you stand out as a host.

 

When I’m hosting a party, it’s important for me to keep recipes simple so I can actually enjoy quality time with my guests. Luckily, all three of these recipes are easy, quick and absolutely delicious. Win, win, and win! Keep scrolling for the recipes!

 

Passion Fruit Bellini

Perfect for brunch or a festive cocktail party! Serve in a flute or high ball glass and add a festive stirring stick. 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 2 bottles Henry’s Hard Sparkling Passion Fruit

Serves 6

 

Preparation

  1. Puree raspberries/blueberries in a blender.
  2. Put a spoonful of puree into a glass.
  3. Fill the glass with Henry’s Hard Sparkling Passion Fruit.

 

Pomegranate Sangria

Perfect for holiday parties and gift exchanges! Serve in a stemless wine glass and add a sprig of pine to for a touch of holiday color and aroma

Ingredients

  • 8oz Leinenkugel’s Pomegranate Shandy
  • 3 oz cranberry juice
  • 1 oz club soda
  • Raspberries and blueberries for garnish

 

Redd’s Blueberry Ale Winter Warmer

Perfect for cozy movie nights. Serve in a glass coffee mug to show off the drinks color.

Ingredients

  • 2 bottles Redd’s Blueberry Ale
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • ½ cup whipping cream (or whipped cream)
  • 2 cinnamon sticks

 

Preparation

  1. In a small saucepan, heat both bottles of Redd’s Blueberry Ale with blueberries and cinnamon sticks.
  2. Heat until slightly reduced (about 10 minutes).
  3. While the berries are cooking, whip the cream into stiff peaks.
  4. Split the hot blueberry mix between two large coffee mugs.
  5. Top with whipped cream and a cinnamon stick.
